Bachelor In Technology

Bachelor of Engineering is an Undergraduate Academic Degree granted for a course or program in the field of Engineering. The Bachelor of Engineering degree is a standout among the most sought after Degrees on the planet. Lone wolf of Engineering degree programs for the most part last 3 to 5 years contingent on the nation. In India, the term of Bachelor of Engineering Degree traverses over a time of 4 years. The multi year course comprises of 8 semesters of guideline and a venture in definite year.
It is prevalently known as B.E. which is a truncated type of the Engineering Degree. Designing Courses are offered by most Public and Private Universities in India. A portion of the colleges in India grant B.Tech. i.e.; Bachelor of Technology rather than B.E for same Engineering Course. A few Institutions grant a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Engineering Science (BESc), Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) or Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree to college understudies of designing investigation.
For instance, Canada is the main nation that honors the BASc. degree for graduating engineers. In India a few Universities like B R Ambedkar Bihar University, Vinoba Bhave University and so on., offer Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.Sc. in designing) instead of Bachelor of Engineering. It is proportionate to B.E. or then again B.Tech.

Eligibility

Only students from the science stream at +2 level (XI and XII) are eligible for the Bachelor of Engineering course, Age Limit is 17.

Students are admitted on the basis of std XII marks or State-Commom Entrance Test (CET) or Deemed University entrance Exam or centralized All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).

Selection to BE is based on merit i.e the marks secured in the final exams of 10+2 and through entrance exams.

Entrance to the IIT's is through 'JEE' (Joint Entrance Exam) and for other institutions through their own separate entrance exams and other state level and national level exams.

Most of the institutes conducting engineering courses in Aeronautics consider JEE score as the qualifying grade. Diploma holders in engineering are also eligible for entry into B.E. Diploma holders of engineering enter degree course, by lateral entry, which gives some concessions in study of subjects.
