The full form of JEE Main is the Joint Entrance Examination Mains. It is a national level entrance examination conducted by NTA for admission into Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) and Architecture (B.Arch./B.Plan.) courses in the top CFTIs, like the NITs, IIITs, and SFIs, State Engineering Colleges of the participating states and other participating institutions.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has been developed as a premier, autonomous, specialist, and self-sustained testing organization to conduct entrance examinations for admission in top educational institutions. This exam is conducted twice a year in January and April. The examination will be conducted in two individual papers i.e. Paper-I - Engineering (BE/ B.Tech) Paper-II - Architecture (B.Arch./B.Plan.).

Admit Card: Admit Card for the April session of the JEE Main exam is expected to be released by the NTA online for all the aspirants on August 17, 2020. It is a mandatory document and one has to carry it to the exam hall without fail.
Exam Day: It will be conducted online i.e. Computer-based Test (CBT) and offline i.e., Pen & Paper-based Test (PBT) for drawing on September 1, 2020 to September 6, 2020 from 9 am to 12 noon in the morning shift and from 3 pm to 6 pm in the evening shift.

Candidates aiming to write JEE Main 2020 need to make sure they fit the eligibility requirements put forth by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The basic eligibility requirement for all candidates is to have passed Class 10 and 12 examinations or its equivalent. There is No Age Limit specified by the NTA for the candidates to appear for the exam. However, each candidate must understand that every college (with reference to IITs, NITs, GFTIs, etc.) has prescribed age limits. The candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination in the year 2018 or 2019 or are appearing in 2020 from a recognized Board of Education are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2020 April Sessions.
JEE Main is conducted twice a year in January and in April. Application form for the April 2020 paper was available from February 7, 2020 to May 24, 2020. Candidates are required to register first and then apply by following the instructions mentioned below.
